Three decades of learning
from the land.
ANNIE
FAVIA
Keen on all things green, viticulturalist Annie Favia is down to earth in a literal sense. Embracing nature and advocating on its behalf. Annie truly believes all plants, vines at the forefront, are speaking to us and it's our responsibility to listen. Ardent about leaving her surroundings in a better state than they were found. Annie cares for plants and brings them to an ever-expanding table, where the fruits of the garden and the cellar can be enjoyed with lively, introspective conversation.
ANDY ERICKSON
Experiences gained from a summer in France during university, and many subsequent trips to winegrowing regions in Europe, fueled Andy's enthusiasm for the concept of "terroir" as well as for wines made from special places. Andy's goal as a winemaker is to highlight the character of each individual vineyard site he works with. Feeling incredibly lucky to call Napa Valley, his home, Andy constantly marvels at the diversity of soils and microclimates in this small yet diverse valley.
The two began
Favia in 2003
Amidst responsibilities at Napa's most lauded wineries and vineyards. After tutelage in the cellars of John Kongsgaard and Cathy Corison, Annie dedicated nearly a dozen years as viticulturalist for David Abreu, developing some of the most lauded vineyards of the time. In tandem, Andy dedicated himself to the cellars of Screaming Eagle, Ovid, Dalla Valle and Mayacamas, amongst others.
More than two decades after producing their first bottles, they have distilled a simple but powerful philosophy that guides their work: In collaboration with nature, with reverence for craft, in honor of place.
In collaboration
with nature.
With reverence
for craft.
In honor
of place.
THE ESTATE
Favia Oakville is rooted in one of Napa Valley’s most historic landscapes. Set within the heart of Oakville, the estate is an evolving mosaic of vineyards, native habitats, orchards, and gardens—an agricultural property shaped with long-term stewardship in mind.
Over the past several years, Annie Favia and Andy Erickson have been quietly restoring and farming the land with a regenerative approach. Vineyard blocks are interwoven with wild corridors and working gardens, creating a living environment that supports both agriculture and biodiversity.
The estate is not conceived as a destination, but as a working farm where wine, food, and the rhythms of the land are deeply connected. Every decision—from farming practices to architecture—has been guided by a single principle: to create a place that will endure for generations.
